MISSIONS

Melrose is known for it's outstanding missions support. It has one of the largest and most active WMU organizations in the region. Numerous and varied mission action projects are going on monthly.
Children in Action (CIA) groups usually meet Wednesdays at 6:30 (dismisses for the summer), with the older groups participating in "Youth in Action" (year round)- see YOUTH PAGE.

WMU FOCUS SUNDAY STARTS WITH BREAKFAST/EXHIBITS
Sunday, February 18th was WMU Focus Sunday. Alma Hunt was our honored guest during the service (pic coming). The morning started out with breakfast and exhibits.

LINCOLNS FOR LOTTIE BRINGS HUGE RESPONSE
The total amounted to $128.60, all in pennies! This offering goes to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions. This was a "kids" project, and we are proud of them!

 
MISSION TRIPS ARE SUCCESSFUL
The adult and youth mission teams both have returned from their respective mission trips ... the adults to Pittsburgh (inner city), and youth from Appalachian Outreach in Tennessee. Here are pictures from the adult Pittsburgh team trip.
