SUMMER CHILDREN'S MUSICAL BEGINS!
This annual event begins May 29 and goes through the summer. It is for kids K-Grade 5, and we meet in the choir room. This musical deals with HEAVEN, and will be a fun and exciting work. Call 366-6631 for more informtation.
 
"SAMSON AND THE HAIRCUT" DRAMA INCORPORATES HAND BELLS!! - May 26
The "hand bell drama" was a comedy with an important lesson. The presentation was on Sunday morning, May 26. The humor was good and the acting and music was very enjoyable.

Children and adults competed in this annual event that always draws a fun crowd.  There were new winners this year! See pics...

YOUTH SUNDAY SHOWS GREAT ABILITIES - Apr. 14, 2013
Our youth group led the entire Sunday service. This included the Youth Choir singing, scripture reading, prayers, creative movement (choreography), and the main message (sermon). They all did a terrific job. Our youth group averages 14-20 on Sunday evenings during their weekly youth activities. Ages include middle and high school students.

PINEWOOD DERBY SET FOR APRIL 28
The annual event brings new cars and excited crowds. Heat speeds were high last year in all divisions, including the adult group. Most of the cars were done by the kids, though. And, everyone showed great sportsmanship thoughout the event. Pics from last year...

SUMMER MUSIC CAMP IS HUGE - JULY 16-20, 2012
The annual event brought over 300 kids. The music/worship arts camp held at the Virginia Baptist assembly grounds near Lynchburg has choir, classes, worship, and lots of fun!

CHURCH PACKS 21,000+ MEALS IN FIGHT HUNGER PROJECT!!!
A rather large crowd helped pack thousands of meals to be sent to the SUDAN. Everyone enjoyed working together for such a worthy cause.
